This is an opportunity for long term, full time employmentt on a working guest ranch. Duties will require experience in but not be limited to industry related technical skills;
Strong personal skills with adaptability, to conduct oneself with a positive and professional attitude, good communication skills, stron ethics, show initiative and maturity, reliable and safety conscious. Be self motivated with abilities to work well with others
Stable management and ranch maintenance, presentation and organization
Feed and care of livestock (ranch horses, client horses and cattle)
All aspects and levels of training for horses of various ages (specializing western)
Farrier skills and ability to handle machinery and repairs
Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general ranch helpers
Develop work schedules and establish procedures
Manintain quality control and production records
Recognize and treat livestock health concerns
GENERAL RANCH HELPERS
Must have experience handling horses
Will assist with preparing horses for guest rides
Ability to assist with ranch house duties and meal preparation
Ability to assist in the gardens an asset
Wages are negotiable upon experience, skill and enthusiasm
Room and board may be available
